May They Prosper Who Love You

I never meant for this site to turn into a photo-journaling tour, but I'm afraid it's been turning into that recently.  I'm going to try to stem that tide.  A picture may be worth a thousand words, but words are still indispensable.  Pictures are easier, though, because writing is like painting.  It's easier to post a picture painted by God and recorded by a camera than it is to take the ideas God's created and try to paint them yourself.

But tonight I'm going to just keep the aforementioned tide rolling in, because I have some great pictures from one year ago exactly, and I think that they say a lot (they say a lot more if you've been there, but they speak either way).  I mean Israel:

PSALM 122:2-3

SATURDAY DAY

SATURDAY NIGHT

ORTHODOX JEWS FROM THE OLD CITY WALLS (JAFFA GATE)

SUNSET OVER THE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM FROM THE MOUNT OF OLIVES

You should go.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
"May they prosper who love you.
May peace be within your walls,
And prosperity within your palaces."
For the sake of my brothers and my friends,
I will now say, "May peace be within you."
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your good.   – Psalm 122:6-9
