Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for love is passing by
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus and live! Now your burden’s lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain, so
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus and live! And like a newborn baby
Don’t be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk
Sometimes we fall…so
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live!Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain, then
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus and live!O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you can’t contain your joy inside, then
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus and live! And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory’s side, and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!
This is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. It’s called “Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus),” by Chris Rice. I first heard it a year and a half ago at a conference in Minnesota. It’s especially meaningful tonight.
I know this song may be meant for humans to hear….but my wonderful dog Jenny is dying…..last night I told her
“Run to Jesus, Jenny…BC He cares for even you.”
14 years with this wonderful animal and I have no children due to cancer growth,,,,I am losing my child.
I have talked to Jesus, run to Him, danced for Him, sung to Him….and when it is my time,,,,I WILL fly to Jesus…and Jenny will be waiting.
Thank you Chris….for reminding us so beautifully where we are welcome to go for His grace and mercy in confusing times like these. All day – every day Come to Jesus….bc He cares for us…all of us.
Thank You, Jesus, for putting Your words into the heart of a man who obviously knows You, and is eager to share Your amazing grace and awesome mercy. May each of us who know You share the same with others.
Does anybody know why Chris Rice called this song “Untitled Hymn”?
this is easily my all-time favorate of favorate songs. it’s amazing! i’m glad you guys put this on the web cause it soooooooooooooooooooooooooo GOD. every time you hear it GOD finds a way to speak to you through it. its amazing
Our dear Pastor Forrest Pollock was suddenly swept away from us earlier this week. At the age of 44, Pastor Pollock was truly in his prime – both in his walk with the Lord and in the way he was leading people to His word. Pastor Pollock had preached on Mother’s Day morning and had later flown to be with his Mother for Mother’s Day. He’d chosen to take two of his children with him for this visit. On Monday morning, he and his son (age 13) left North Carolina – in flight for a conference in Texas. They never made it. His single engine plane went down near Cold Mountain in the Asheville, NC area.
This song was sung at his memorial service this past Wednesday night. It was the first time I’d personally had the pleasure of hearing it and to be perfectly honest… I was touched beyond any words I could convey hear. The pianist could hardly get through singing it without breaking down numerous times. As it has been said over and over again… we have not LOST our Pastor. No… not at all. We know exactly where he and 13 year old Preston live today.
I work in the funeral home industry and this is definitely a song I am going to purchase to have in our music archives for those grieving the loss of a loved one to have to comfort them.
To GOD be the glory! Amen.
Where can I find the sheet music to this song?
I would love to find an accompaniment cd of this song. Where do I look for one. Thank you.

My heart yearns to sing this song soon.
I heard this song at a choir program that my aunt and uncle sang in on Easter Sunday. It was played during the invitation. It didn’t make me cry at first, but as the song progressed (and as the church did a video sequence with the song) I began to lose more and more control of my emotions. I’m glad the service ended right after because I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I went inside of a Sunday School room and cried my eyes out for at least 30 minutes. Unlike most guys I can be very emotional, especially when it has to do with Jesus and Heaven. What a simple, pure, and beautiful piece of music!!! Thanks to Mr. Rice for writing the song. As a musician I only wish I could write something as beautiful as this song.
I love this song! It is such a beautiful song and has very powerful lyrics. I heard this song over a year ago and it serves as a constant reminder for me to keep Jesus first. Cry and fall on Jesus when you are hurting. Sing and dance to Jesus to thank him for those wonderful gifts that he has given us. It’s a great representation of the seasons of life and what an impact our Savior has on each of our lives!
i love this song it was one of my grandmas favorite songs and we played it at her funeral
I attended a funeral today of a co-worker and heard this song for the first time. It’s absolutely beautiful, very powerful, and yet I found great comfort and peace in the lyrics. Does anyone know where I can find the music or sheet music? I’ve just *GOT* to hear it again. Thanks.
I heard this song just the other day while driving and almost had to pull over as my eyes were filling with tears. The progression of the lyrics left a message that really touched my spirit.

My sister passed away unexpectly on July 23, 2007- we miss her so. At her funeral during the release of a beautiful white dove that flew so gracefully around her grave – the song Fly to Jesus was played – it was such a lovely song. I know that she was looking down on us from heaven and she was at peace.
This song will always touch my heart.
I’d heard this song before and liked it a lot. Then yesterday my Aunt Ruth’s pastor sang it at her funeral and it really hit home! My aunt loved this song and I can see why. It’s a perfect portrait of her life and for that I thank Jesus!!
Where can I download this gorgeous song? Fly to Jesus and Live
Most beautiful song I have ever herd. Has a special meaning in my heart now, the reason being it was played at my Grandfather’s Funeral.
I also was so very moved by this song when I heard it on the radio it brought tears to my eyes. It touched my heart. It simply states the life walk with Jesus and all the emotions of life. Every one of them experienced, felt and understood by Jesus. I went right to my pastor and ask him to put this on as one of the songs top of the list to be sung at my celebration of passing into heaven.Thank you God for inspiring Chris to write this beautiful song.
When I first heard this song on the radio I just wept. The lyrics are so simple and pure that they pierced my very soul. Absolutely beautiful!
This is a Christian MUSIC masterpiece. Glory to GOD!
I have never read such beautiful words. I look forward to finding the music so that I will be able to sing it in my church, and anywhere else that will let me do it.
Finally I found it! I heard this song on Spirit FM in my car one day, but did not catch the artist or title. I have had this song in my head for weeks now. I believe this is going to be one of the all time greats. It has such a deep meaning for all of us. Thanks again!
Absolutely beautiful song expressing the soul’s joy of abiding in CHRIST.
Thanks for the lyrics and the title and singer of the song. I heard this song on the radio and it really resonated with me. I just put it on my ipod … what a great song to listen to daily. It reminds us of the deeper purpose in our lives … to live our lives with a deep connection to Jesus in both good times and bad times. Beautiful song … touching story. Thanks.
This is a beautiful song sung at my aunts funeral a few weeks ago. It was put together with an album of pictures of her and her family from birth until her death. It will forever be a beautiful hymn and album of her life. She was a wonderful Aunt Gladys and mother to all. She was also a true Christian. She went to Jesus!
